This is just as beautiful in person. I was intimidated at first about where/how to hang all of the crystals, but they do a good job of separating/labeling all strands and instructing you where to put them. Crystals are pretty; I'm pretty sure they are plastic, but they look nice from afar. The metal has a pretty antique silver overlay and it comes with touch-up paint. I bought a ceiling medallion with a 4" opening and it fit perfectly! Remember when deciding the height of chandelier that the crystals will be hanging down in the middle.

Love this light fixture, it was just what I needed to update my dining room. The lights if you install led bulbs are very bright, had to switch to warm and lower wattage. Easy to install, did take awhile to hang all the crystals.
